My teacher has told me f should check in. So I am. No doubts. No questions. Well, the eternal person is not so clear that I am able to explain it completely but I know that the deepening of understanding will come with the best timing possible.
A Long Sought Answer
I can answer a question you have been asking for years. Before Vedanta came to me through you I had enlightenment sickness for a couple of weeks or months and during that time I watched all the talks and books from Eckhart Tolle. I saw that he was genuine then. I didn’t know about the right teaching and teacher yet…and in the end I was alone. He was only able to tell what he was able to tell and in the end more would never come.
And I realized that the same applies to all the teachers and teachings in my huge archive on external disks built up over the years. I would never be able to watch and listen to everything in there. I decided to delete all the spiritual stuff because I knew quite clearly that nobody can ever teach me what I long to know. In the last moment before pressing delete I saw a directory labeled “James Swartz.” As if to conclude the goodbye to spirituality, I started the first video with the anticipation of some more incomplete human teaching by a man with a strange German-like name.
I knew at once that his one was genuine. That much I recognized. He knows what he is talking about. And the chart was a great mystery! I would also like to understand the chart! And somehow…he is…kinda cool. That was about 2.5 years ago. Since then you are my superstar (pass it on to Isvara ). 0I like suspense movies and TV-series too, but you and the teaching robbed me of this entertainment. I have tried a couple of times but for 2 years I cannot watch movies any more. All I can see are acting actors and I can’t participate. Since last August I cannot – from the same ground – follow the news and talks from all channels. And it is good.

James: Lovely email. Yes, modern guys are just guys with their own opinions. God bless them all. Spiritual fast food, really. Thanks for the info on Eckhart. I don’t know if people still read the Power of Now because when I mention it in my talks most of the younger people don’t know about Eckhart. Oh well, they say he’s a nice man and at least he got rich, which is something, no more epiphanies on park benches. God bless him too. I would bless you too but since you are a proper Vedanta person you are obviously blessed for good so it isn’t necessary. Anyway, I attached a copy of my recent book entitled “The Power of Know.” Hope you like it. I also posted this letter on the websitge and will do your guna idea another time. If you have a copy in a word processor, just a simple text file, it will save me rewriting the whole thing.
