Christian: Dear Sundari and Ramji, just a little note of gratitude (again… it happens a lot these days) to you and James for all you’ve done for those like me.
This morning I’m enjoying one of my favourite texts – the Astavakra Samhita (the Nityaswarupananda translation) – and it occurred to me that, in a way, you and James have been Astavakras to my King Janaka. It may seem amusing if not silly, but to me, it just feels as appropriate as can be. Please take it as a heartfelt compliment – I intend for it to be exactly that, although my gratitude is too deep for my small words to do it any justice.
I have no questions, though sometime early in the new year I look forward to perhaps thanking yourselves in person – well, “live” anyway (consider it a kind of darshan) via a quick Skype session after I’ve followed the instructions for it outlined on the site. I hope this is acceptable to yourselves because I’m under the impression that Skype sessions are reserved for students’ questions, instruction and so on.
At any rate, I’m thinking of you and James, and as always, thank you!
Sundari: Thank you for your feedback and appreciation, Christian, much appreciated. It is a great privilege to wield these priceless teachings, and though we require no reward, because it is always Isvaradoing the teaching, it is wonderful to hear from people who apply the teachings and see them work wonders in their lives. That is the true purpose of gratitude for the incredible gift that these teachings are – to understand their value by living them. Well done, and may the fruit of Self-inquiry, Self-knowledge, continue to unfold your life in wondrous ways.
Please feel free to book a Skype appointment with either one of us.
~ Much love, Sundari
