Dear Ramji,
Thank you for answering this question – I just re-listened to your reply on the recording. It makes sense. I also realised that I have been listening to you these past months from the perspective of a “student” trying to get something from the teaching, mostly wanting to understand the logic of Vedanta. I realised that this was the wrong perspective – I needed to drop the student and listen as I, Self.
For background story, I’ve been with Vedanta for more than 10 years, and your teachings have brought much clarity of language and thought that have been invaluable. Much appreciated.
Ramji: Good for you, Nancy! Yes, if the Self listens as a student is remains a student. When it listens as the Self it reclaims its original nature.
Love,
Ramji
