Shining World

Kundalini and Vedanta

Shanti: Hello, James. When I came back from the seminar, the person I told you about came to see me. He had a rising kundalini (automatic mudras and bandhas) and a vision of the self as pure consciousness, last week. He stayed in our center for two days because he wasn’t able to work. He was quite confused about what happened and needed help, so I taught him what I know. He is learning very fast. I answer his questions and the next day he has deep knowledge about the topic. He has very few thoughts. His sadhana is taking a stand in awareness as awareness. His jiva is very pure and sattvic. I think he is safe: he knows he is awareness.

He told me that Vedanta is a tremendous help. Yesterday I told him about the three states. And probably tomorrow he will give me feedback. His words are very wise now and he has a lot a of energy: he didn’t say anything, but a work colleague quit eating meat even though he was eating it three times a day.

I just wanted to share this play of Isvara with you. Thank you for being an instrument to bring self-knowledge to us. We appreciate that very much! I learned so much from giving him advice, guiding him through this process. The seminar was so wonderful and a big help.

I wish you all the best.

OM, Shanti

James: He is lucky that Isvara brought him to you, as kundalini is generally a very disturbing, disorienting experience. People who aren’t blessed with a proper teaching are often confused for many years – some never figure it out. It makes sense in light of the knowledge of one’s self as awareness, not jiva. Very interesting story.

~ Love, James
