Jim, I hope you’re well. I watch you on Youtube. I’m new to this Vedanta business and have a question. Do you know if all the humans in their various incarnations exist so God can experience every aspect of existence? Would consciousness need to do that? God and crows are great.
Billy Hamper
Dear Mr. Hamper,
You have come to the right place. I am quite well, even though I have 1.98% of both feet in the grave. The .02% is plenty of room above ground to experience unborn bliss. Thanks so much for a human question as it gives me an opportunity to pontificate. Here is the final word on the afterlife.
God is not a person that experiences things. It has no sense organs or mind, instruments that are required for experience. It is existence shining as unborn bliss-full consciousness. It has no idea that humans exist. So, it has no needs.
Humans want to know if there is an afterlife because they want to feel that they are not wasting time and effort if the results of their actions are going to be nullified when they die. They want to take everything with them and come back to enjoy doing useless things and worrying about the results once more.
They have no idea that they are immortal, which means that the results of their actions are nullified before, during and after they do them in this life, the afterlife and the after afterlife. They are a sorry deluded lot. We prove that you guys are immortal so you can stop worrying, kick back and smell the roses. How do we do it? We remove the ignorance that is hampering your appreciation of your immortality. Most humans are such dumb fucks they don’t realize this service is available. When they could be enjoying scot-free in the here and now, they suffer like dogs and Englishmen out in the scorching noonday rays of samsara. Such is their pitiable state.
Sincerely,
The Squawking Crow
