Texts
1. Aparokshanubhuti –Direct Self Experience, based on ‘I Am Ordinary Awareness’ by James Swartz;
Yoga means contact and Vedanta is humorously called “the yoga of no contact.” Indirect knowledge is knowledge of something remote that is not experienced. Direct knowledge happens when an immediate something is experienced. You are in contact with Existence shining as Consciousness because you are Existence shining as Consciousness. Attend this seminar and hear Shankaracharya’s definition of Vedanta as Yoga.
2. Neutralizing Likes and Dislikes, by Sundari Swartz
While it is imperative to understand and assimilate the whole methodology of Vedanta, the ‘Big Picture’, where the work of self-inquiry takes place is in your thought by thought, day to day life. Without investigating who or what is in the driver’s seat, meaning examining our subjective reality and our likes and dislikes, Self-knowledge will not stick.

Information About the Area
Our home, Mundo Sundaram, in Colmenar, Malaga, is listed on Google Maps. Our physical location is in the Axarquia region of Andalucía in southern Spain, about 45 minutes from Malaga International airport.
