I have already put down a 50% deposit for the whole event to secure it, so please let me know if you are interested in attending asap. I can attest that I have visited the venue and it is as beautiful as the video shows, complete with running treadmills in the pool, a gym, cold plunge bath and sauna. All rooms have private bathrooms and a kitchenette. Very importantly, it has air conditioning in the teaching shala as well as all rooms. It is in a very quiet area, away from the tourist mania, surrounded by beautiful paddy fields, and only a 20 minute drive to the coast.
Cost Of Accommodation and Breakfast:
This venue takes up to 22 people, and assuming all rooms are shared, the cost per person for 9 nights (incl. breakfast), will be: 340 USD in total, which includes breakfast. If you want a room to yourself, the cost will be 680. If we have more than 22 people, there is more accommodation nearby at similar prices that can be booked.
Texts: Tripura Rahasya and Atma Bodh
Tripura Rahasya – or Mystery Beyond the Trinity – is a purana, one of the source texts of Vedanta, and was one of Ramana Maharshi’s favourites. It is the only text in the whole Vedanta pramana where the guru is portrayed as a ‘woman’. Tripura Rahasya is a story of desire-based human love and its transformation through Self-knowledge to non-dual love. It unfolds the difference between dualistic and non-dual love from the point of view of both the person and the Self, using metaphors that are quite delightful. Like all Puranic texts, it is the Vedas in code.
Because Tripura Rahasya leaves out some of the most fundamental and important teachings in Vedanta, such as qualifications, values, karma yoga, guna yoga the three bodies/five sheaths teachings, we will also be teaching Atma Bodh, or the Fire of Self-knowledge, as this covers the whole methodology.

Meals:
Breakfast is included in the accommodation cost. Lunch and dinner will be provided by the venue for everyone who wants it, at an average cost for both meals of 15 USD per day.
Transportation:
The venue offers a taxi service, and offers the use of their car for two hours per day, so anyone who wants to explore the restaurants in nearby Ubud can do so – or order a Gojek, which is extremely simple to do. Excursions to nearby places of interest will be organized on the day off, June 4th.
